The fan-favorite X-Men: The Animated Series is available to stream in its entirety on Disney+. The premium streaming service has heralded its arrival with what it has dubbed an “unofficial official” trailer.

Recounting Marvel’s Merry Mutants assembling to protect a world that hates and fears them comes a trailer. Drawn primarily from the season of the show. As Jubilee is brought in by the X-Men, Professor Charles Xavier. Who leads his students against Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

The animated series saw some road bumps when initially arriving on Disney+ last year. With several episodes in the second half of the series initially placed in the wrong order. While a handful of production notes are in certain episodes as they stream.

This past August, producer Larry Houston confirmed there had been conversations with Disney. About the possibility of reviving the animated series beyond its fifth and final season. The acclaimed animated series had originally run from 1992-1997 on Fox. Introducing a whole generation to the Children of the Atom in adventures against familiar foes.

While the snazzy new trailer is hardly evidence that there’s something more cooking, fans are likely to hold out hope that Disney+ spending any extra money on the show is a good sign for the potential to see more down the line.

All five seasons of X-Men: The Animated Series are available to stream on Disney+.
