The fourth season of the animated series will introduce two new psyche-bending characters, Tito the Anxiety Mosquito and the Gratitoad.

Netflix’s new limited series The Queen’s Gambit tells the story of chess prodigy Beth Harmon (Anya Taylor-Joy) as she battles trauma, grief, self-doubt, and most importantly, addiction on her way to the top. Often darkly comic, the series is nevertheless steeped in tragedy. Beth is abandoned by both the living and the dead. The only constant she can lean on is the cold mathematical order found within the black and white world of a chess board.

‘The Christmas Chronicles 2’

The Christmas Chronicles 2 brings back Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn as Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, plus Darby Camp and Jahzir Bruno, who must team up to save Christmas from the evil Belsnickel.

“I’m not a Grinch and while The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two ventures possibly too far into magical hijinks and away from what made the first one so much fun, you still want to see how the Clauses and the kids will save Christmas this year. It’s just that this time around, the kids might have a little more fun and the parents might have a little less,” writes Decider’s Brett White.

‘Alien Worlds’

Alien Worlds, a new docuseries on Netflix, looks into the world of exoplanets, imagining what alien life would look like outside of Earth by using CGI and scientific research.

“It’s a lot to stitch together real nature and science to fictional CGI scenes and make the narrative look seamless. That’s why we give the producers of Alien Worlds an A for the idea but, um, less than an A for how they were able to mash those concepts together,” writes Decider’s Joel Keller.

‘The Crown’

The Crown continues on Netflix, and this time, we’re getting into the Princess Diana years. Season 4 introduces both Prince Charles’ future bride Diana Spencer (Emma Corrin) and a new leader for Britain, Margaret Thatcher (Gillian Anderson).
