Marvel And DC Movies To Look Out For

We bring you a list of Marvel And DC movies to look out for from 2020. This is a collection of some of the long-awaited comic book adaptations.

Black Widow

Scarlett Johansson is starring in a standalone Black Widow movie. This is a delight to many fans who needed more from her as a character. Black Widow is a tricky kick-off for the next phase in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. On the surface, it does not promise to reveal the grand design behind the next catastrophic Avengers event, but neither did the first Iron Man. What the trailers allude to is a proper send-off and perhaps a way of giving the fans “closure”

The Batman

There is another Batman on the rise. Robert Pattinson will take over the role of Bruce Wayne replacing Ben Affleck. He will feature as a younger Batman. Fans across the world have mixed feelings towards this development but Pattinson has got that natural mystery and subtlety… This also creates an opportunity for the film to delve deeper into plot points seen in the comics that haven’t made an appearance on the screen.

Wonder Woman 1984

Wonder Woman, a movie from DC is back! Diana Prince continues her one-woman war on the depravity of man in this neon sequel bopping to a New Order beat. We need that glow almost as much as we need Wonder Woman’s optimism. The darker the gloom outside our window, the more we demand heroes to rekindle the light of hope within. That was the great blessing of the first Wonder Woman.

The Eternals

The Eternals is one of Marvel`s most exciting movies in the pipeline! Eternals revolves around a collective of superpowered immortal beings. It features a thrilling and diverse cast: Gemma Chan, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, Brian Tyree Henry, Angelina Jolie, Barry Keoghan, MaDong-seok, Lia McHugh, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, and Lauren Ridloff.

Morbius, the living vampire is a classic Marvel character. Known more by diehard fans than any general moviegoer. Here`s what do you need to know. Biochemist Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) attempts to cure himself of a rare blood disease. But he instead transforms himself into an energy or blood-sucking vampire. He’s not a dark soul. He doesn’t want to feed on just anybody. He wants to use his hunger for humans as an instrument of good! An interesting twist!

Venom 2

Speaking of Spider-Man villain movies, the first Venom was a whole lot of crazy mess. Tom Hardy`s Venom: Let There Be Carnage is in the pipeline too! This is another exciting movie from Marvel directed by Andy Serkis. Woody Harrelson plays Carnage. The movie was supposed to be out in October 2020 but because of COVID-19, its release has been postponed to 2021.
